This is a genuine AAM rear differential cover for 2003+ Dodge 3/4 and 1 ton trucks with the 11.5 ring gear. This is virtually identical to the one for the GM trucks, although the part numbers are different according to AAM’s website. This uses the 40007601 fill plug (sold separately).

After searching for the parts I needed, it turns out that the differential gasket and cover I needed were for a either a Chevy, Ford or Dodge differential 11.5

This differential cover scared me because it was priced way lower than any other OEM cover I’ve seen online. Once I opened the box, I noticed it’s a legit OEM cover. The American Axle Manufacturer logo is even stamped in the center. This is not a cheap brand cover. This is an AAM product at a lower price than aftermarket! Great shipping speed too. They had my order at my door within two days even with regular Ground Shipping!
