This is a genuine AAM spider gear kit that fits GM trucks with the 8.6 10 bolt 30 spline open differentials. These are for the trucks with disc or drum brakes from 2007+. This will only work in an open carrier and also are the replacement gears for the 40048044 open carrier assembly. This will not work in a posi trac or limited slip carrier
