This is a genuine AAM rear hub nut for the later model GM trucks with either the 10.5 or 11.5 rear differential. This is the 9 pin nut as opposed to the earlier 6 pin design. This nut uses a retainer (40096297) that snaps onto the nut to hold the key (40082234) in place under the nut. The Lisle socket for this nut is part number 31550.
