This is an aftermarket rear hub nut for use on Dana 70 and 80 rear axles with 2″ 16 threads per inch. This is the style that uses a wedge key that drives in a keyway on the top of the spindle and cuts through the nylon part of this nut. This nut is right hand thread. Also this nut requires a 2 9/16″ special hub socket to remove and install it. This part number has been discontinued from Dana.

This is a genuine Dana Hydra Lok or Vari Lok limited slip differential plenum. This mounts on the side of the differential underneath the bearing. It is easy to damage the original part while removing the bearing.

This is a genuine AAM rear hub nut retainer for the later model GM trucks with either the 10.5 or 11.5 rear differential. This is for the 9 pin nut as opposed to the earlier 6 pin design. This retainer snaps onto the nut (40091019) to hold the key (40082234) in place under the nut.
