This is a genuine AAM ring gear and pinion set for the GM 9.5 14 bolt semi-float differential found in some 1981-2014 Chevy 3/4 ton and some of the heavier 1/2 ton trucks such as the SS series trucks. AAM is the original equipment manufacturer of these rear axles for General Motors. You won’t find a better gear at any price. The original AAM part number was 40051784.
