This is a genuine AAM ring and pinion set in a 3:42 ratio that fits all GM 8.5 or 8.6 10 bolt differentials from 1973 and up. This includes early Camaros, 1/2 ton pickups and SUVs, Caprice, etc. In our opinion these are the best gearsets available on the market today. The tooth counts are 12 on the pinion and 41 on the ring gear.
