This is a genuine AAM axle tube gasket for the 8.25IFS front differential found in some 2004 and newer Chevrolet and GMC 4X4 1/2 ton trucks and SUVs. Not all 8.25 differentials had these gaskets, but if yours does it is necessary to put one back when reassembling the case.
