This differential is a factory replacement for the E-Locker type front differential that was an option on Dodge 2500 and 3500 series trucks with the 9.25 AAM front axle found in 2003 and newer front differentials. This can also be retrofitted into trucks with an open front differential. This is a genuine AAM part. THE OEM Dodge part number was 05175278AB. This is similar in application to the Eaton 19622-1 which is no longer available. This part number has been discontinued from AAM. It has been replace by part numbers 40048164 (differential) and 40160105 (electric clutch).
