This is an aluminum aftermarket rear case that fits all the 149 and 246 GM transfer cases and the 261 and 263 GM LD or HD transfer cases. It is a direct replacement for the factory case 1/2, and is much harder than the factory part. This case eliminates the problem of the oil pump wearing through the case and does not require or need any sort of “case saver”. This also replaces part number 30961.
