This is an aluminum transfer case rear case 1/2 that fits 261XHD and 263XHD transfer cases found in Chevrolet and GMC trucks with either the 8.1 gas engine or Duramax diesel engine and Allison automatic or ZF standard transmissions. This case eliminates the problem with the oil pump wearing through the case. It does not require any type of “case saver” and is a direct fit.
